On Monday, April 16th, our Reach Runners crossed the finish line in the unforgettable 2012 Boston Marathon. Carla Tardif & Cindy Houle took on the challenge of 26.2 miles in record-breaking high temperatures with the motivation of the Family Reach mission carrying them along one of the toughest marathon courses in the country. Nursing an injury, our Reach Runner Marsha Ralls, was able to defer her entry to 2013 due to the extreme heat warnings. Carla, Cindy, and Marsha Ralls have raised $37,000 for families facing the emotional and financial challenges of cancer. We wish Marsha the best of luck in completing the Boston Marathon in 2013!

The marathon would remain an unfulfilled dream were it not for the vision of Carla Tardif, her commitment to Family Reach and its impact on families dealing with the harsh realities of cancer. The knowledge that my silly fantasy can touch families that have found themselves living their worst nightmare is what has given wings to my dream.
