San Francisco Golf Classic

Many thanks to our dedicated friends at Genentech and the many generous sponsors for making our 4th Annual SF Golf Classic an overwhelming success. This year’s event surpassed our goal and raised over $110,000 to help more than 100 families in the Bay area and other communities around the country who are fighting through the challenges of cancer. We are also very grateful for our event volunteers and the expert staff at Green Hills Country Club for delivering a wonderful day for everyone. Of course, the 80 degrees, bright sunshine, no wind, and rolling greens didn’t hurt either!

Finally, we were touched by having two Family Reach grant recipients attend, as well as two passionate social workers from our program partner, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Helping families manage the emotional and financial stresses of cancer is why we exist and our special guests truly exemplified our mission. 

We look forward to next year’s event and to bringing relief to families thanks to everyone’s generosity!
