On September 17th, Family Reach Foundation teamed up with Dick's Last Resort to bring hope and relief to New England families with a child or parent fighting cancer. The Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner started off on a brisk morning at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA, and culminated in a fun-filled dinner and awards session at Dick's Last Resort restaurant and bar at Boston's famous Fanueil Hall. Golfers enjoyed 18 holes of scramble competition, a barbecue lunch, and plenty of stories of great shots and missed opportunities. At the dinner event, steak and lobster were enjoyed by many, and participants were able to walk away with a number of raffle and auction prizes including a Mike's Hard Lemonade mountain bike, Celtics tickets, and Bruins tickets that include time in the radio booth with WBZ announcer Dave Goucher.

Family Reach would like to give special thanks to Dick's Last Resort, especially to Director of Operations Mike McRae and Boston General Manager Tom Sliney and his entire local team who made everything happen.
