The annual 'Oldies Night to Remember' is one of our most popular events of the year, with tickets selling out each spring. The event has allowed us to reach new fundraising milestones each year, and features great food, wonderful musical entertainment, and of course, an extraordinary cause.
The 2009 dinner-dance, held on May 2nd at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ, broke yet another Family Reach record, raising over $90,000 for families fighting cancer - shattering last year's record amount of $75,000. This year we were honored to be joined by six-year old Family Reach beneficiary Sergio Ricciardi and his family, who took part in a very special auction of a painting created by 14-year old cancer survivor, aspiring artist, and Family Reach beneficiary Piotr Kolodziej. The auction raised $4,600 for the Ricciardi family!
The 9th Annual Dinner Dance was sponsored by ADP Statewide Insurance Agencies, Inc., and Blue Door Marketing, with entertainment sponsored by Anthony Della Salla, owner and CEO of New York Land Services. Attendees danced the night away to music from The Shepps, The Classics, The Excellents, and The Emotions.
We look forward to announcing more information about our 2010 10th Annual Oldies Night to Remember event. It will feature the popular and talented Bronx Wanderers and a night of non-stop dancing and fun -- all to raise money for local families with a child or parent fighting cancer. Stay tuned for more!
