“Jimmy”, Age 5, Maryland

December 2011-Jimmy is a five year old boy diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma during the spring of 2011.  His father has been unable to work due to Jimmy’s needs for care and treatment and his mother is disabled.  The family subsists on only a fixed income. In addition to their normal living expenses, the family is experiencing high transportation costs  associated with treatment since the drive to and from the hospital where Jimmy is treated, is 150 miles round trip. Financial assistance with a utility bill was requested to help alleviate their financial burden.

Family Reach provided an $884 grant to pay the family’s gas and electric bill.
