Reach Athletes
Our Reach Athlete program is comprised of runners, cyclists, triathletes, walkers….anyone who wants to be inspired by the ability to help families fighting cancer from their first day of training through to the final paces of a race.
A Reach Athlete raises money for Family Reach Foundation by asking friends, co-workers and businesses to sponsor them as they train and compete in races and athletic challenges across the country. Family Reach will support you, promote you, share in your successes, and introduce you to some incredible families whose strength and courage will motivate you through every grueling stretch of your race.
Reach Athletes are an extension of our family and we support you by:
Providing a fundraising webpage for you to design and promote your fundraising efforts.
- Outfiting you with Family Reach gear.
- Promoting you on our Family Reach website and Facebook page.
The Reach Athlete program is also an excellent team-building opportunity for corporate athletes. Family Reach can provide support to a corporate team leader who wants to arrange a spin event, run as a team in a race, etc.
Reach Racers compete in extreme bicycle, running, long-distance and multi-sport challenges. Reach Riders participate in Family Reach Foundation’s signature three-hour spin events and other stationary cycling activities. Reach Runners run anything from a 5K to a 50K. What unifies these athletes is their commitment to going beyond just the physical cha
llenge and raising funds from their friends, families and coworkers to support the financial and emotional burden faced by families fighting cancer.
