Reach Rider
A Reach Rider is an individual who puts his or her strength and endurance to the test by participating in a special spin or other cycling event and make extra efforts to support our mission by becoming a peer-to-peer fundraiser. They approach family, friends and businesses to sponsor them. Your extra dedication as a peer-to-peer fundraiser will allow us increase the number of families we can help, and extend our reach as an organization.
Family Reach holds several signature three-hour spin events throughout the year, particularly during the holiday season (when a single holiday treat may take an hour to burn off). Conceptualized and under the direction of Family Reach Ambassador Kenji Freedman, these events offer the opportunity for individuals to participate as Reach Riders.
Reach Rider spin events are an excellent corporate team-building activity. To find out more about this program, please contact Director of Development Carla Tardif at ctardif@familyreach.org.
