Croma Supports Family Reach Foundation
Boston, MA - June 02, 2008 -
Croma has selected Family Reach Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial relief and support to families fighting pediatric cancers and other life-threatening diseases, as its charitable giving partner. Family Reach Foundation raises funds to help these families pay for daily expenses that mount as a result of lost parental wages due to time required for caretaking, as well transportation to and lodging near care centers, among other needs.
Croma is launching the relationship with a Family Reach Pizza, a classic pepperoni pizza, with $1.00 from the sale of each pizza - at both the Plymouth and Boston locations - going to the foundation. Additionally, Croma is providing gift cards to Family Reach for use by families undergoing treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the foundation's local hospital affiliate, so that families can dine at Croma free-of-charge. Croma plans to expand the relationship with additional initiatives in the future.
